On November 8 to 9, 2007, the Institute in cooperation with the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and other organizations jointly held in Beijing an international seminar on China’s Peaceful Development & a Harmonious World. Around 200 scholars and dignitaries from 22 countries including former German Chancellor Mr. Gerhard Schroeder and Chinese State Councilor Mr.Tang Jiaxuan participated in the discussions.
