Hong Kong Faces a Potential Development with Traditional Paradigm yet to Change

Changes of political atmosphere, implementation of social reform and acceleration of closer ties with Mainland lead Hong Kong to a new development path. Therefore, traditional governance and development pattern may require further paradigm shift that allows Hong Kong to assess its future development through a wider horizon and a higher macroscopic view and to accelerate readjustment of its economic structure via brand new strategic concepts as well as construction of a harmonious society, thus stabilizing and bolstering Hong Kong’s international competence.
